“I am a successful author, and millions are buying my books!” This is what I repeated over and over this morning as I took my daily walk. Did it do any good? Only time will tell. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure I totally understand the law of attraction. I know it’s not enough to just say the words and think it will be true. I know you have to back it up with a lot of hard work and I have done that. I have published three books in just under a year, and I have done everything I can think of (and afford) to promote them.
I have also made sure that each book is edited and put out as professionally as possible. With each publication I have tried new things, and I am hopeful that I am making great strides. My third book, “The Salacious Marny Ottwiler”, has a virtual book tour that begins next week, and I am trying an ad on the popular blog, Mommy Shorts. “On a Hot August Afternoon”, my second novel, has sold better than my first novel, “Searching for My Wand” and I am counting on “The Salacious Marny Ottwiler” to sell even more. In the meantime, I will continue my mantra on my walks and hope that there is something to this because I truly believe in these books as well as myself.
How about you? Do you believe that you have to put your intentions out there in order to achieve them?
